Distributions are conducted via a no-questions-asked drive-thru every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3 to 6 PM.

The Community Food Connection Launches “Make A Difference May” Campaign to Combat Growing Food Insecurity
Poway, CA — 5/13/25— The Community Food Connection (CFC), an all-volunteer nonprofit food pantry, has launched its midyear fundraising campaign, Make A Difference May, to address the growing need for food assistance across North Inland San Diego County.CFC currently distributes nearly 6,000 boxes of nutritious, no-cost food every month to individuals and families in Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Peñasquitos, 4S Ranch, and surrounding communities. Distributions are conducted via a no-questions-asked drive-thru every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3 to 6 PM.
Behind every vehicle in line is a story:
- A single mother balancing school and unexpected car repairs
- Seniors struggling to stretch Social Security checks
- Individuals living in their vehicles
- Parents recently laid off, who can keep the lights on and pay the mortgage thanks to food assistance

Community support is crucial. Donations of any size have a big impact:
- $50 provides a freezer full of frozen meat
- $25 delivers 75 pounds of pantry staples
- $1.50 supplies a case of canned meat
