About the Role

ComForCare Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Assistant to support our hiring and onboarding operations.

This role is critical in ensuring caregiver documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with California regulations, while maintaining strict confidentiality (HIPAA & PII standards).

You will work closely with our HR and operations teams to support recruiting, onboarding, and administrative functions that keep our agency running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support hiring and onboarding by ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant

  • Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee records

  • Schedule interviews, orientations, and onboarding appointments

  • Communicate professionally with applicants and new hires (phone, email, in-person)

  • Track onboarding requirements and ensure timely completion

  • Assist with improving administrative processes and workflows

  • Participate in community outreach (job fairs, hiring events)

  • Provide general administrative support to HR and operations teams

  • Represent ComForCare professionally in all interactions


Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset

  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes


Preferred Experience

  • HR, onboarding, or administrative support experience

  • Scheduling and coordination experience

  • Experience improving workflows or processes


Requirements

  • High school diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)

  • Previous experience in HR, healthcare, or office administration preferred

  • Must live in or near North San Diego County

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
