About Us

The mission of the American Cancer Society is to improve the lives of people with cancer & their families through advocacy, research, & patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive cancer. A large part of the Society's revenue is raised through planned gifts.

As the Senior Director of Estate & Gift Planning I provide information to donors who are interested in making a planned gift such as gift by Will or Bequest, Charitable Gift Annuity, Charitable Remainder Trusts and more. I work with individuals to see what might work best for them. I work with many qualified estate planning attorneys and financial advisors in the Poway area and I can provide recommendations for qualified advisors in your area. I can also email or mail you additional information on planned giving and ways in which you can save paying capital gains taxes.
