Poway Symphony Orchestra Concert: "Timeless Treasures"

Our 21st concert season concludes with a special treat, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto in B-flat Major. The soloist is David Savage, PSO’s Principal Bassoonist and one of San Diego’s most accomplished woodwind musicians. Mozart’s concerto is a rare gem, full of expressive range and technical brilliance that requires a true professional. Mr. Savage brings exactly the artistry and experience this piece demands. Rounding out the program are Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 1 (known as the "Spring"), a vibrant and lyrical celebration of spring, and Ludwig van Beethoven dramatic Egmont Overture, Op. 84.
