Connections Group

Connections Group is the official referral networking group of the Poway Chamber! Attendees will have the opportunity to introduce themselves during a round robin, and most meetings will feature a special guest presenter. 

This month, Tom Nicholl will discuss California's recent law requiring employers with one or more employees to offer a retirement plan. Tom will cover the available options for business owners, helping them understand how they can comply with the law while providing valuable benefits to their employees. This presentation will explore various retirement plan choices, their advantages, and how business owners can create a sustainable, tax-efficient retirement strategy for their teams.

Tom Nicholl is a financial advisor with Edward Jones, where he helps clients navigate their financial futures with personalized investment strategies. He specializes in business retirement plans, wealth management, and tax-efficient investing-helping business owners, professionals, and families secure their financial futures. With an MBA in Finance and Marketing, and a background in executive leadership, including roles as General Manager and Vice President, Tom has extensive experience in strategic growth, marketing, and client relationship management. When he's not advising clients, he enjoys golf, travel, and volunteering at his daughter's school.

Open to all Chamber members, Connections Group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Poway Branch Library Community Room. Meeting is free and includes light refreshments.
