Connections Group

Connections Group is the official referral networking group of the Poway Chamber! Attendees will have the opportunity to introduce themselves during a round robin, and most meetings will feature a special guest presenter.

This month, we will be incorporating a "speed networking" segment into the meeting. For the first 15 minutes, we'll be discussing the question, "How Do You Ask Customers For Reviews Politely?" It's no secret that reviews are essential for businesses to validate their services and reputation. But how can we encourage customers to leave reviews in a polite and respectful manner?

We are also excited to have Julie Gertser, the owner and operator of A/C Mechanical Sol Inc., a company she and her husband started in 2008 during the unprecedented real estate crash. One morning, Julie's husband's employer informed them that the company was shutting down. At the time, they had recently purchased a new condominium and had a one-and-a-half-year-old son. In the blink of an eye, they lost their primary source of income. This unexpected event became the catalyst for them to start their own business.

Today, A/C Mechanical Sol is a thriving company with 15 employees, specializing in the repair and installation of HVAC equipment for both commercial and residential clients. Julie has been deeply involved in the business from day one, attending numerous marketing workshops and networking events.

In May 2024, Julie founded the Scripps Ranch Entrepreneurs Network, which now has over 100 members. She believes that with hard work, dedication, and her experience, she can help attract more people to attend and participate in the Poway Chamber of Commerce Connections Group.
