Building Resiliency During Uncertain Economic Times Workshop - Cause San Diego

Background

Funding cuts, drops in private donations, changes in corporate giving and volunteerism and a looming recession – are all happening while the need has never been greater. The need to help individuals, families and communities that lack adequate housing, education, healthcare, proper nutrition and safety. The need to protect and nourish our diverse ecosystems and environment that allow us to have clean water, air and land.

Due to these needs, Cause San Diego is bringing together businesses and nonprofits to develop contingency plans, partnerships and explore alternative solutions.

Event Overview

Cause San Diego is offering this community engagement workshop for San Diego nonprofit professionals to share challenges, ideas and solutions; to assess their current situation alongside peers; and to get pro bono advice from local experts in financial, operational, HR, legal, PR, marketing communications and strategic planning.

Nonprofits will be paired with business experts who are ready to learn about their organization and discuss ideas for pivoting or sustaining operations and funding.

Registered business professionals will receive details about the organization they will be paired with prior to the workshop to allow time to better understand their mission, challenges and goals.
