SUMMARY:Tour de Poway
DESCRIPTION:Join over 2\,000 cyclists for the 26th Tour de Poway fun bike ride through the scenic North County San Diego. The ride starts and finishes in Poway\, the "City in the Country". The various courses provide a fun and challenging ride for all levels of cycling with well stocked aid stations\, music\,expo\, BBQ and beer garden at the finish.\n\n	The 100\, 62 and 50 mile courses begin with a 6%\, three mile climb up the Poway Grade\, followed by a fantastic 7 mile downhill. The east bound lane of the three mile climb will be closed to motorized vehicles from 7am -9am. The century route includes a ride to the coast before heading back to Poway.\n\n	The 26 and 18 mile courses provide both a fun and enjoyable experience for the weekend cyclist and includes a stop at the Bernardo Winery.\n\n	This year's Tour de Poway will be presented in memory of Nick Venuto. Nick was a Poway cyclist that was killed on his bike on May 31st.
