DESCRIPTION:The Poway Heroes Softball game this year will include members of the Poway Firefighters Association  Local 3392\, Factory 16 Girls softball team made up of players 16 and under and the Southern California Special Olympics Champion Softball team. \n\n\n\nThis is the 8th year this event has been held to recognize the efforts of the Firefighters and their service to our community. \n\n\n\nThe Event sponsor is Chick fil A and the Title Sponsor is Original Pancake House. California Dream Pools is sponsoring Firefighter and Umpires jerseys.\n\n\n\nGame Announcer will be Mayor Steve Vaus with Chief Umpire Doug Vick heading up the umpire group of City Councilmen and women. \n\n\n\nThe team at Poway Sportsplex have been gracious to provide the field each year. \n\nRaffle tickets will be sold for some great items like a Spring Break Resort getaway in Carlsbad!!\n\nProceeds from this event will support the participating teams programs. \n\n\n\nTo purchase tickets to the event\, please go to www.ncspecialneedsfoundation.com and scan the QR code (Venmo account by Lisa Lingham).
