DESCRIPTION:Connections Group is the official referral networking group of the Poway Chamber! Attendees will have the opportunity to introduce themselves during a round robin\, and most meetings will feature a special guest presenter.\n\n\n\nOpen to all Chamber members and first-time guests\, Connections Group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Poway Branch Library Community Room. Meeting is free and includes light refreshments. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis month\, we are thrilled to welcome Manpreet Takhar from Friends of Poway Seniors\, who will discuss their volunteer and meal programs\, as well as important insights for tax season. With over 12 years of experience as a nonprofit executive director\, Manpreet has spent the past two years leading Friends of Poway Seniors\, successfully expanding initiatives that enhance the quality of life for seniors\, including programming and meal services. Her strong emphasis on community partnerships and advocacy reflects her dedication to promoting dignity and independence for older adults. Manpreet holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration from California State University\, Fresno\, and is passionate about innovative approaches to senior care.
