On Friday, February 19, 2016 at 7:30pm, San Diego Folk Heritage invites you to join us for an evening of Western Americana and blues featuring two Southern California folk favorites: Sidewinder and Baja Blues Boys. The all ages event takes place at Templar?s Hall in Old Poway Park (14134 Midland Rd. - Poway, CA 92064). Admission is $15 for members and $18 standard. Students with school I.D. receive the member price, and youth ages 12 and under are free. Tickets are available at the door or online. About Sidewinder: Established veterans of the Southern California music scene, Ken Wilcox, Bruce Huntington, and Tom Wolverton have come together to create Sidewinder, an exciting Original Roots Americana band. Bruce and Tom are established songwriters and have had a great number of their songs recorded and performed by other artists. Sidewinder performances are known for outstanding versatility and musicianship, and polished vocals and solid three-part harmonies. About Baja Blues Boys: Baja Blues Boys feature Tim Atkins on guitars and and Andre Perreault on harmonicas; they share the vocal duties. Their repertoire covers the blues from Robert Johnson to a wide selection of their own originals. Any Baja Blues Boys concert is likely to include wailing, stomping, clapping, sliding, and an audience hollering for more. San Diego Folk Heritage is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the folk arts in Southern California.
